FULL ITINERARY
Day 1 | LUANG PRABANG (D)
Meet with our team for a short ride around Luang Prabang to ensure we are confident about the journey ahead and to get comfortable with life in SE Asia. A Briefing and dinner at a city centre Laos Restaurant which is also a charity for marginalized youth. (Khaiphaen Restaurant) to explain the route with the guide and tour manager before taking a stroll through the Famous Night Market

Day 2 | ROUND TRIP TO KUANG SI WATERFALL 60 KM (B, L)
Your primary road ride to the scenic Kuang Si Waterfalls will pass through Hmong and Khamu ethnic villages. Enjoy a swim in the clear water basins of the Kuang Si Waterfalls, a must-see site for anyone visiting Laos. On the Way back to the city we will call at Laos Buffalo Dairy for a tour of this incredible farm that supports local villages and educates in Animal welfare and husbandry. and also makes amazing Ice Cream, Lunch is a picnic in the Farm's Pagoda.

Day 3 | LUANG PRABANG – KASI 85 KM (B,L)
A 1-hour transfer by minivan brings you to Xieng Ngern. Saddle up! and we will cycle to the foot of the mountain at Ban Pong Dong, and we will transfer uphill to the mountain viewpoint number 9, where we can see the clouds dissipate to reveal majestic karst peaks as far as the eye can see. After a local lunch on the peak, we will begin the rapid descent into the Vale of Kasi the final 40km are all downhill Overnight in a guest house.

Day 4 | Kasi – PHOUKHOUN 55 KM & TRANSFER TO PHONSAVAN (B, L)
Today we will cycle between 1400 and 1000 metres. Up and down (but mostly up) through small scenic valleys and over mountain ridges with stunning views. After lunch in Phou Khoun, we will have a transfer to Phonsavan, where the mysterious Plains of Jars are located.

Day 5 | ROUND TRIP TO THE PLAIN OF JARS 60km (B, L)
This is a perfect ride to get used to the new climate as we are over 1000 meters above sea level. The Plain of Jars remains a place whose mysterious past has led to diverse speculations. Why did people make these amazing stone formations and what were they used for?

Day 6 | PHONSAVAN – VIENGTHONG 98 KM (B, L)
After a 1 hr. transfer, we'll start cycling through very nice scenery. We have to cross some passes that will reward us with great views. From Nam Neun, we'll put the bikes back in the backup car and drive the last hour to Viengthong. Today's ride is challenging with long Climbs. We stop by the hot springs outside of the town for a snack of boiled eggs and soy sauce

Day 7 | VIENGTHONG - VIENG KHAM 98 KM (B,L)
The day starts again with a short transfer to the highest point of today at 1200 mtrs. above sea level. The amazing landscapes will inspire you to keep your camera ready – especially as we drop down into the small town of Vieng Kham. It’s just another wonderful biking day. An awesome, spectacular ride with challenging ascents of 5-10km.

Day 8 | VIENG KHAM - NONG KHIAW 53 KM (B,L)
This day features some of the best mountain scenery on this trip. We start the day with a challenging ascent of 800 altitude meters. From the top of the mountain, it’s all downhill to the very scenic valley of Nong Khiaw, located on the banks of the Nam Ou.

Day 9 | 100 WATERFALLS TREK (B,L)
'Wow, wow, wow...' is what the first travellers said after coming back from this simply amazing waterfall hike and river trip!!!
Starting the day with a peaceful boat ride on the Nam Ou, you can explore a small Lao village along the river side before heading into the waterfalls. Learn about their way of life along this river!
Walking through small streams and rice paddies you arrive at the base of the 100 waterfalls. For the next few hours, you will see only water and jungle and hear the sound of clear waterfall cascades. The pools around you are very inviting for a refreshing splash.
Your guide will lead you through the cascades and prepare a local-style lunch on the falls in the middle of amazingly green nature. A small villagers’ trail on the top of the 100 waterfalls will lead us back down into the valley offering wide views over the landscapes of the Nam Ou valley.

Day 10 | NONG KHIAW – HUAI KAN (BOAT RIDE) - LUANG PRABANG (B,L)
The day starts with a relaxed 2-hour boat ride on the Nam Ou River. Enjoy the downstream journey, with fine views of the limestone mountains, before cycling from Huai Kan. Will we take an excursion to visit the famous Buddha caves before Following the Mekong through the handicraft villages to the city, you will return to Luang Prabang around 4-pm.

Day 11 | LUANG PRABANG (B)
A free day to explore the ‘Gem of South East Asia’ or perhaps A Lao Massage to ease the aching legs before departing for the Airport
End of program.
