This trip will leave lasting impressions, and it's all on paved roads over mountain passes and through incredible scenery.

FULL ITINERARY

Day 1 | Luang Prabang

Arrival and briefing through our representative. Enjoy a welcome dinner in Luang Prabang.  Overnight in a resort Hotel close to the centre of the town.

 

Day 2 | Luang Prabang - Trek- Cycle - Kuang Si Waterfalls (30 km Cycle 9km Trek)

We transfer this morning to the traditional Hmong village of Long Lao Mai and start following the jungle trail to the source of the falls, we hike an easy 8km through farmland and wild jungle. After a refreshing swim in the shimmering, crystal water. We leave the falls after lunch by Bike and cycle 6km downhill to the Lao Buffalo Dairy a fantastic NGO that provides life-changing skills and resources to the surrounding rural communities we will take an exclusive hour-long tour of the property and enjoy a coffee, homemade cake or ice cream the cycle back to town will take around one hour leaving lots of time to explore the night market or take an optional sunset cruise.  

Day 3 | Luang Prabang - - Kasi (85 Km)

A 1-hour transfer by minivan brings you to Xieng Ngern. Saddle up! and we will cycle to the foot of the mountain at Ban Pong Dong. We will transfer in the Van uphill to mountain viewpoint number 9, where we can see the clouds dissipate to reveal majestic karst peaks as far as the eye can see. After a local lunch on the peak, we will begin the rapid descent into the Vale of Kasi the final 40km are all downhill  Overnight in a guest house. 

Day 4 | Kasi - Vang Vieng (58 km)

On this day you're biking through amazing scenery and will descend slowly into the lowland along rivers, limestone formations, and caves. Vang Vieng is a tourist-friendly backpacker's hangout located in a beautiful setting between steep limestone rock formations., If time permits we can visit one of the many caves close to the town. Overnight in a Resort. 

Day 5 | Vang Vieng (35 km) 

Early morning we take a vigorous trek up Big Nam Xay. This climb is fun and you are rewarded with spectacular views across the Song Valley, the trek is around 2 1/2 hours so we should be back on the bikes by 11 am and we will continue to ride on to Blue Lagoon 3 for a swim. After lunch, we will cycle to Blue Lagoon 2 for refreshments. before cycling back to our resort hotel. this loop around the spectacular Song Valley is a highlight of the tour.

 Day 6 | Vang Vieng – Nam Pien Yorla PA (Eco Resort) (85 km)

We Leave Vang Vieng on the main road, to the ‘sea of Laos’: the 250 square kilometre artificial Lake Nam Ngum. A 2-hour boat ride brings us to the sleepy village of Thalat, from here we will cycle to Ban Khune for Lunch. After lunch, you continue on a quiet back road through small, hidden valleys and authentic villages. You'll spend the night in comfort at a resort on the banks of the Pien River. Overnight in a peaceful eco-resort.

 

Day 7 | Nam Pien Yorla PA (Eco Resort) – Vientiane (50 km)

Today, you cycle on back roads in the shadow of the Phou Khao Khouay mountain range and on towards the capital as the volume of traffic increases we will jump in the van and head for the Buddha Park and its unique collection of statues representing images of Buddhist, Hindu and Khmer folklore this weird and wonderful attraction is a great way to finish our tour, however for those who still have the energy we can continue into the city and finish under at Patuxay Monument the Arc De Triomphe of Laos. Overnight in a Hotel Close to the Mekong River
