Day 1:Pakse- Paksong (B,L)
After Breakfast, a beautiful flat cycle through the Bolavan plateau to the peaceful town of
Paksong, the climate of the plateau with its cooler temperatures and abundant rainfall makes it
the perfect place for coffee production.
This area is rich in ethnic groups, predominantly Laven whose villages straddle the road between Pakse and
Paksong on the western edge of the plateau, visit Tad E-Tu Waterfall. Continue to Tad Fane
The waterfall is the highest in Champasak Province.

DAY 2 Paksong to Salavan to Tad Lo (B,L)
Up early today to transfer to the Capitol of Salavan Province to visit the UXO operations camp
we can see the continued efforts to clear the land of unexploded munitions left over from the
‘Secret War’ was a 9-yearyear US bombing campaign which dropped over 2,000,000 tonnes of explosives
on Laos. We can also cycle around the ruined temple complexes before departing after lunch
This area is rich in ethnic groups, predominantly Laven. Route the road between Pakse and
Paksong on the western edge of the plateau, visit Tad Lo Waterfall. And a peaceful night in
earshot of the waterfall.

DAY 3 Tad Lo to Pakse (B,L)
Our final day on the Plateau sees us cycle the remaining leg back to Pakse calling in at Tad
Pasuam waterfalls before returning to the city. The countryside continues to amaze and the
welcome and interest we will receive from the villagers is unparalleled

DAY 4 Pakse- Champasak (B,L)
Today we head over the river to cycle along the Mekong on the 14a, a quiet feeder road to the
historical and quaint town of Champasak here we have the afternoon free to explore the town or
sit with a coffee and watch the world trickle by whilst getting to know the lao-calls.

DAY 5: Champasak - Wat Phou - Don Khong (B,L)
From the town centre we cycle to the Unesco-protected site of Wat Phou the oldest Khmer Hindu
site outside of Cambodia this incredible ruin is one of the true hidden treasures of Laos. after we
follow the Mekong south to the mouth of the dreamy 4000 islands region here, it is recommended
to find a cold beer and a hammock and watch the sunset spill into the idyllic Mekong.

DAY 6Don Khong-Don Khone (B,L)
The final morning ride through paddy fields and fertile farmland follows the river south, there are
plenty of beautiful stops for snacks and photos.
Pack the bikes away and float into our final night's stay on a private boat. (if Available) .
Relaxation and amazing Mekong sunsets remain at the top of the experience on this island with
the bonus of being in closer proximity to two waterfalls, a swimmable beach area, far
superior food options than Don Dhet and fascinating history. It’s hard to believe that this sleepy,
passive island was once the staging point for French colonial ambition.

DAY 7 Border departure and Arrival in Stung Treng (B, L, D)
After the formality at the border, meet the Cambodian guide, who will accompany us for the remainder of the journey to allow the best local knowledge. From here, we start cycling over silent roads through green fields and forests towards the O’Svay community. Get a taste of rural life with lunch with a local family, a unique opportunity to experience Khmer hospitality.
After lunch, you will board a local longtail boat that will take you out onto the river and through the rapids, riffles and swirling pools below the falls to spot the endangered Irrawaddy Dolphins, as they live and hunt in the numerous pools in this area.
Later, return downstream to your overnight camp on Koh Lon Island in the middle of the Mekong River. Settle in for the evening in your basic tented accommodation while our team rustles up a delightful evening meal. Take a refreshing dip in the river or sit back with a cold one while the sun descends.

Day 8: Stung Treng To Preah Vihear (B, L, D)
We transfer north this morning, towards the Kulen Prum Tep Wildlife Sanctuary, we then begin our ride. As we near the border with Thailand, the scenery becomes more verdant and the road turns from flat into rolling hills. Our final destination is the Hindu temple of Preah Vihear, a UNESCO World Heritage Site perched 1722 feet up on the edge of a cliff with stunning views for miles around, built on the Poy Tady Cliff (525 m) in the mountainous region of Dangrek in northern Cambodia. The complex is one of the most impressive structures of the Angkor period, not only because of its spectacular location.
We will drive up to the top of Preah Vihear temple by 4-wheel drive and spend a couple of hours exploring this world heritage site. The majority of visitors to the site are Khmer people who have travelled by road from far away to see the handiwork of their ancestors.

Day 9: Preah Vihear – Koh Ker – Banteay Srei (B, L, D)
This morning we drive to the remote archaeological site of Koh Ker hidden deep within the Cambodian jungle. The site is massive, spanning 81 square miles and more than 180 sanctuaries with very few other visitors. Of particular interest is the unique pyramid-style temple which has 7 separate tiers and rises 118 feet high—the largest of its kind in the country.
Afterwards, we enjoy a beautiful ride through rolling hills to the picturesque temple of Beng Mealea. Laden with massive strangler figs whose roots grip the temple walls, our exploratory spirit is encouraged to delve deeper into the ancient ruins, one of the few in Cambodia we’re allowed to climb through. After trekking through the temple and surrounding forest, we transfer to Banteay Srei to spend the night at a homestay.

Day 10: Banteay Srei – Siem Reap (B,L,D)
Breakfast at your homestay, we then ride to Banteay Srei temple, through the wonderful Cambodian countryside inhabited by friendly villagers. On the way, stop at a couple of villages for a close encounter with everyday local life. Arrive at the temple of Banteay Srei, decorated with floral motifs and scenes from the Ramayana.
After lunch, we continue your Angkor encounter with a visit to the spectacular temples of the Grand Circuit, beginning with Preah Khan or ‘Sacred Sword’, one of the largest temples at Angkor. Then it’s onwards to Neak Pean surrounded by fountains and ponds, then to Ta Som and its famous strangler fig tree. Finally, you arrive at Pre Rup, a pleasant spot to experience another Angkor sunset if you wish. This evening dinner will be served in a local restaurant.

Day 11:Angkor Cycle (B,L)
After breakfast, we begin your cycling exploration of the incredible Angkor temples, focusing on the Small Circuit featuring the pyramid of Takeo, the jungle-clad Ta Prohm, Sras Srang known as the King’s bathing pond; and the impressive Royal City of Angkor Thom where you will find the Bayon, a temple famed for its many gigantic carved smiling faces. You will also visit other important sites in this immense walled city, including the pyramid of Baphuon, Phimeanakas and the royal viewing stands known as the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
After lunch, visit the incredible and majestic Angkor Wat. In the afternoon, you cycle to an excellent spot to experience a magnificent Angkor sunset.

Day 12: Rolous and Tonle Sap
We pedal east on small trails through pleasant countryside and small villages en route to Wat Trak temple. After lunch, continue cycling to the Roluos group, the oldest of all Angkorian temples. Visit the temples of Preah Ko, Loeli and the pyramid of Bakong.
After lunch, we continue to cycle on back roads through the village to take a boat trip on Tonle Sap, you board a small wooden boat for the journey to the floating and stilted village of Kompong Phluk and witness this incredible floating community. Depending on the lake level you will also have the surreal experience of being paddled amongst tree tops as you explore the flooded enchanted forest and witness the vast expanse of the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest in South East Asia. This evening, enjoy dinner and a traditional Apsara dance show at a local restaurant.

(Note: Due to low water levels during the dry season, the boat trip is only possible from July to March. However, an alternative floating village at Chong Khneas can be arranged instead).
Day 13-14: Siem Reap free day and Departure
Day 13 is yours to explore on your own
Day 14 After breakfast you will be free to transfer to the airport for your onward flight leaving the hidden charm of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Wonder of Cambodia with many cycling memories.
